I noticed that in the bellhousing, there were friction/score marks from the clutch when it blew up, and some of them lead to the where the crank sensor sits. I checked it for physical signs of damage...

They even discounted the $160 a little. Synthetic oil change and diagnosis for $200, I do actually like their service department, total opposite of the previous dealer disaster.

Interesting problem... From the FSM under P0500: The vehicle speed signal is sent to the combination meter from the “ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)” via the CAN communication line....

Well, dealer says it’s the cluster. It’s a Canadian vehicle. Was the cluster damaged upon the conversion from KM to Miles somehow? Of course, Nissan won’t cover it, or even supply the U.S. dealer...
