A $75 kit isn't worth it? F2C 1/3 HP w/manifold. I realize it's cheap, but I'm not asking it to do much. Gonna at least ask my neighbor down the street - he's the guy with car parts in his kitchen...

You can get one through autozone's tool rental program. I think the deposit comes close to 400 all in but you get it back upon return. Just make sure you oil the vacuum pump.

Trying to decide how far to go tearing apart the front end of the Z to save on labor costs. Considering buying a manifold and vacuum pump for the AC refrigerant. Not sure it's worth it though...
