    There is some room but I like it because it doesn't encroach on what little storage there is.
    I wanted something I could just pop out if need be. The cargo cover came with my car.

    nice, thanks! seems not many people either have the cargo cover or choose to hide it that way. does it fit pretty snug or do you have room to spare?

    No it's a pioneer tsswx251. I chose it because it fit under the bar, between the shock towers and faces down so it doesn't get damaged. I secured it with just some nylon straps wrapped around the strut brace and snaps on top of the enclosure. I also chose this because the cargo cover clears it. The JL may work too but I got the pioneer on sale!

    i saw you post about a box mounted under the bar in the back for those with the touring model. did you end up getting the JL w3v3 10?
