The paint for the handles I would suggest removing them first, I know little about paint so I have a shop do my paint work I just gave them the color code, year, make and they went to work.
As far the leds I did wire them myself, I removed the center console for running the wires to the oem switch panel. the led's were just simple foot long flexible led tubes from auto zone there is a flat ridge under the dash that you can attach them to I opted for adhisive over the double sided tape and I drilled two small holes and zip tied in place just in case. In the trunk and the dome lights I replaced the stock bulbs for plasma glow led light panels crazy bright. Hope this helps a little, good luck with your mods!
