I first cracked mine and didnt know for a year. It made the knock sensor upset and was reducing ign timing which means losing power for almost a year before I blew the front transmission...

even stock you can crack the flex plate i would imagine. if you run it hard and lots of high RPM up/down shifts could wear on the flex plate over time. actually saying that makes me wonder how...
