Life span of a VQ37?
Clutch is another good thing to check. Throw it in 5th at lower rpm and floor it. If the rpms jump without any acceleration, the clutch is slipping. 65k of highway miles wouldn't scream "fried...

Not only that, but your transmission is not a huge fan of it. Shifting that hard isn't great for any of the drivetrain componants.

Sounds like it's in need of a good tune-up.

Hi!
Welcome aboard. I looked at S2000's as well before buying my Z. It was hard to find a good, well kept, unmodified S2k so I moved on to get the Z. Could not have been any happier.

2014 Jaguar F-Type - really?
It makes a wonderful noise too. I'm with you though. If I had the cash in hand, I'd come home with a 911.

I'd take a Boxter S over the base f type, and a 911 S over the v8 model. But hey I've never been into British cars.. Does look sexy in person though! The V8 model has a nice price per horsepower btw.

The Tachometer in the center, where it should be. It's one of the reasons I chose the Z over other cars.

I would like to know more about the 370z's Paddle shifters.
It's not a dual clutch. It's not like a manual with no clutch. It's an automatic with a torque converter like any other traditional automatic. Granted, it's a good auto, but it's still a slushbox....

Xenon. Might have been mentioned once or twice already in this thread.

I would have bought these if i wasnt already going FI. I think they look great especially in a monteray blue car. More power to the OP for getting something he wanted for his car.
