well i woke up at 430 in the morning today... couldnt really sleep.... was so irritated and mad at the damn mufflers..... and also at myself.... i decided to try again.... this time passenger side first..... guess what.... perfect fit..... i was like wtf are you serious.....? the culprit is the driver side..... something is definitely wrong.... after messing with it for 2 hours..... i figured out the angle on the flange is the reason why its hitting my bumper....if i just bolt up the hangers (keep in mind there are two hangers on this side) everything is perfect..... the moment i tighten the bolts on the mid pipe.... it tilts the muffler to a point that its hitting the bumper..... i got to hear the mufflers though i wont lie they are decent.... i actually like them (the sound). The only thing holding me back? the tips stick out like nerf bars or truck exhausts..... they look "ok" but to me its really the deal breaker and makes the back of my z look kinda ugly from the side view..... i have a plan though.....some cutting and tig welding to suck them in 1 1/2

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the pics in the other thread discussing these mufflers. all the need is like you say 1" to 1.5" off…

Let me know what you do to these mufflers to get them sucked in, I would like to do the same. like i said mine fit well just a little too far rearward. also, I just did BOP for Guam, hope to be seeing this beast in a couple months.

thanks man...

here are some photos of the roof overlay.... i got h & r 15mm spacers up front installed today.... but thanks to my fender extensions they still look sucked in.... but still a improvement i guess.... nothing new in my book fellas or well nothing huge or jdm incoming

i really missed my roof overlay i think it blends better with the whole cf hood....

and a two weeks ago i had someone walk up to me and tell me that daytona is for american cars because it relates to nascar.... why would i put a daytona "nascar" on my z first off i dont even know this guy..... i told him cuz i dream of racing my z in the daytona 500 dude gave me this crazy look and walked away .... i dunno if its because im getting older or because im just tired always from work but nowadays i dont feel like explaining in full detail when someone makes a moronic comments about my z, and thinks they know everything in the import world.... to bad he didnt know the daytona is a Z specific tuning shop in fukuoka japan... that supports and caters specifically to Z's only
