By the way, when you say the 'gap' between the two brands of coilovers, they are about the same price point so I can only assume you mean the fact that the BC ER series has a few features the JIC's don't right ? I mean there was another 370 out there running pretty good times with the BC's if I'm reading the times correctly!

LOL very good.
I did mean in price point but even more so in quality. I'm not knocking BC at all. I've personally had a set on one of my cars and have driven several cars with them and if I had another 10-20k car I'd probably run them again. And your right Mike at DD run's them and has had great success with them and fast laps (I guarantee it's more Mike than the dampers) LOL but by all means you are right sir.

For a damper out of "Borah Cheng" "BC" ( a factory in Taiwan) where they also produce Megan racing and a few other budget conscious dampers. There at the top of their class.

Just like anything in life you usually get what you pay for and in my personal and professional experience I'd rather steer my customers that are looking for a low price point yet a quality product that equals the quality of the 35k car they just purchased toward a "Entry level" damper from a High end company vs. a damper from a company that only specifies in budget conscious products.

At the end of the day it all comes down to what the customer wants to do with the car and what their budget is, and sometimes BC may be the best route to go. (sometimes..lol)

but thats a different thread.

Okay, I respect your opinion but we're going to agree to disagree on that one Paul. I spend most of my time in the aerospace industry and have seen a lot of business move to Asia-Pac in recent years, with little/no negative impact on quality. I've also seen a lot of low-price positioned companies rise up successfully. It's a good position to start from, especially in an economic environment where price matters. And if you've been following BC, you'd notice they now have a new factory, $50M capital infusion, new ISO certification, new series of products, and some very public commitments to product quality and service. Seems like a pretty legit business to me. Proof will be on the track, of course. I'm hoping to participate in future Redline TA events in the modified RWD class, so that'll be one more to rack and stack.

I saw some of your exhaust work on your website, as well as some sound clips from Youtube. I have to say, they all sound and looks fantastic.

Your first post mentioned a full exhaust AND manifolds. What manifolds are you planning on going with?

Hey there Paul

I'm new to the board under the Intro page. Anyway, I'm looking for a local shop and supplier for my Nismo. I live in Carbon Canyon, right down the road from you. I will look for a website but I'd like to come by and see what you guys can do. OK? PS. Name is Adam, go by MotoExtreme, my old bike shop in Brea.
