Its also the same reason why I would not have the oil line connection at the bottom of the cooler so oil won't drain back, its little details that make a difference and saves from toasting an engine.

Oh yes, I did prime the oil cooler by filling it up each time I do an oil change (May be alittle excessive but I figured if I spent the money on expensive oil like Motul I might as well replace the oil in the oil cooler). Unfortuantely I don't have a good way where I could prime the lines. Hopefully the air in the lines will eventually work its way to the top and when I check the level after driving the car and top it off again, it'll be fully primed.
