Sorry for the confusion, I was going through the thread and I saw you had the oil cooler taken apart. What I meant by prime was to fill the cooler

Sorry for the confusion,
I was going through the thread and I saw you had the oil cooler taken apart. What I meant by prime was to fill the cooler with oil to eliminate and or minimize the air gap before you start the engine. Its also the same reason why I would not have the oil line connection at the bottom of the cooler so oil won't drain back, its little details that make a difference and saves from toasting an engine. |
