Rusty, I was looking at the angle of your splitter. It looks like it's angled up in the front.

Yea, it's up a hair. I have to readjust it. That means that there will be a big gap in the front.

I heard back from the company that makes the splitter I was looking at. They verified that their's is angled up also. They followed the conture of the existing diffuser. I thought about taking the diffuser off like you did and then installing their splitter but like you mentioned, the gap

That gap is a killer. I'm only up a few degrees. I can't raise the rear of the splitter up because of the way it is mounted. I have to lower the front and find something to fill the gap.

Yep, once you take the diffuser off, you have to deal with the gap and if you keep the diffuser on then you have to try to find a way to angle it down in front which would be some kind of angled filler but then the splitter would be scraping all the time because it would be lower in the front.

Just measured the angle of the splitter. It's 1.5 degrees up in the front. Which ain't much. I might be able to adjust that down with the rods. On the brakes, it would be pointed down a lot.

That's not bad at all. If you had the oem diffuser on there, it would be a lot more than 1.5 degrees. I'm trying to get the company that makes the splitter that I'm interested in to make there's work with the oem diffuser removed and form it to fill the gap in the center of the bumper. It wouldn't be that difficult to make a die they could put in a press to form it. I see that they've done it on other splitters but they don't seem to keen on the idea.

My new custom valved King shocks for the Z came in finally.

Can't wait to install them. It's going to take some fabbing to do it tho.
