Forsberg (370z) is a Titan race motor v8 from the baja series.
The 350z I am not sure of, but probably a v8 also.

you mean tires? Depends on the tires, some last longer than others. I tried some dumlops a couple events ago that lasted 10 laps each pair. Those were crap. I tried kenda tires this last time and they lasted the whole day for me at my level of driving. Some of the better guys usually go to an event with 10-12 new tires mounted but they literally drive the whole day.

Wow, that sounds insanely expensive compared to a road-course weekend. I hope they make cheap tires just to burn through drifting...

Kenda tires has a racer program that we use. As long as you are entering one of our events you can get tires at a discounted rate. I get 265/35/18's for $130 shipped to my door. Goes down to $120 if I order 10 or more.

are those the tires you prefer for their performance or just based on the price/incentives?

Both. Most of the drifters love them for that reason. I did fight an understeer issue but I'm pretty sure thats because I dont have enough negative camber up front. Once I fix that I will be able to fully evaluate the stickiness of the tires. If the issue still isnt fixed, I will have to run something stickier up front and keep the kendas in the back.

nice. ive been so tempted to slide my Z but with pilot super sports all the way around i rather not since they are $1500 a set and super sticky lol

honestly though there are some roads around me (not saying i would unless they were closed down - no street/illegal race talk

) that would make awesome drift sections.
