You have one of the most well-rounded modified Z's on the forum. It would be a shame if you got rid of it.

thanks for all the kind words... this site comes along with the Z too and I have yet to be on a car forum as good as this one as well... would be hard to let go... all though m4a is still around even though he went over to the dark-side of American junk, .... jk

I go through times when I hate all cars in general, than times when I love them...

In all honesty after this motor breaks in , I will check the oil like a mad man, If there are no signs of oil burning chances are I will keep it... More than likely I will have the Z at least through the NY summer season...

Its just at a good time now to sell if I was going to... The car is worth a good amount and the longer I wait the longer the value will drop... A Z with 15k miles in the beginning of the summer is a lot better than one with 25-30k in the beginning of the winter... I have dumped thousands into this car though as I do not feel as if I got my moneys worth yet.. I mean I have long tube headers, a ton of dynomat, a set of stock shocks for if/when mine go bad, and a set of stock Akebono's all waiting install... So it was in my plans to keep this car, I just feel betrayed by my Z right now lol....

what to do

Good luck chuck but most likely i will still consume some oil even with the new motor. Should have worked it out to have a stroker kit put in the new block, then you would fix the oil comsumption issues to boot.
