My H&R spacers have withstood a pretty tough autoX with no problems so far. We'll see how they do at Road America in two weeks!

I'll get a pic up soon, I've been busy and lazy. |
Good news on the H&R spacers, thx for the feedback!
|
I don't know about HP Logic. I don't keep in touch with them anymore.

The failure doesn't create a dangerous situation either, just have to be careful reinstalling the wheel if you lose the centering ring.
|
How are the new rotors working for you?
|
Rotors are awesome. Coupled with the new lines, fluid and pads it makes for a very solid and confidence inspiring feel. Don't know how much of it is due to the rotors, but the brake pedal feels pretty good even on street pads. I'm dying to try out this setup on the track. Hopefully soon. Thinking the street pads aren't going to hold, so I might have to break my mod hiatus for some race pads. Gonna see if I can borrow a set of 350z wheels on slicks from a friend.
Oh and they look awesome! |

Hey, I'm looking to buy your stock wheels, preferably this weekend lol. My rears are almost completely bald and today I found a nail in one the rear left tire, although it was luckily a short nail and did not puncture all the way through the tire.
But yeah, that tire is basically a time bomb and the car is absolutely scary to control on the highway since the rears wore unevenly(common Advan Sport problem). Send me a PM, I'm willing to pay $1200 for your stock set right now! If you can't sell them yet I'm going to have to dump money on at LEAST new rear tires which will send me back over $600(that's including mount/balance but not alignment). If I do that I'll have to wait to get wheels until sometime next year. |
oh hell...$1200...
If you give me $1200, ugh thats such a good deal...youre making this real hard... |
I'm detecting sarcasm here...Pardon me if I'm wrong.
I still think it's a good price considering the tires are used and one of them is curbed. It's not far off the 1300 you originally agreed to. I'm assuming they still have ~70% tread or is that not the case anymore? If you're serious let me know by Sunday. |
Im feelin it RCZ! Looks great man

RCZ - That Nismo spoiler look JUST SICK!!! I think I may have to rock that. Aside from the spoiler, did you have to get any other parts to install this properly? I thought I read that beefier parts were needed when installing the OEM Nismo Spoiler....

Wow! That was fantastic!

I haven't posted in a while, but here's a teaser.

I'll try and snap some better ones tomorrow or later tonight with some light and a real camera haha. Btw, I have no idea why it looks like the rear fender doesn't align. Light playing tricks. |
nice wheels bro!
|
I love the stance and the overall look. I still think that wing needs something to finish off the look. Maybe the Nismo rear.
|
That looks amazing RCZ, I have always been watching your PG Z since I want mine to look and run like yours does. If I don't just pick up a set of Enkei RPF1s, those Vossen are my favorite by far and away!
|
Thanks guys, I gotta get better pictures, the ones I just put up do not do it justice. I'll see if I can try and snap a few after dinner. I love it. Offsets are perfect, no rubbing. 255/305 Pirelli P Zero combo. They are so much smoother than my NT-05's.
The wheels though, fitment is perfect. They are flush with the fender both front and rear and theres about an inch of wheel gap all the way around. I went on the highway and got the car up to speed * ehm!* and there was 0 vibration. No noises, nothing. Also I gotta add that Jav took care of me himself and was as polite and helpful as always. They normally don't sell the wheels directly so I was very surprised to be treated with so much care. They had 3 guys working on my car at once! It took them like 20 minutes to get the wheels off, take the tpms out, mount tpms on the other wheels, mount tires on new wheels, balance and install back on. They wrapped my old wheels and tires in plastic so they wouldn't get my car dirty and helped me load them up. I gotta say I was pretty impressed. Stand up company and judging by the ludicrous amount of wheels they had in stock, they don't really "need" my business that bad, but they still took care of me. Honestly guys, if someone's on the fence, buy them. I won't even get into how good the look on the car, that's subjective, so you guys can decide, but I pulled into a gas station and got a "nice car and nice wheels" from a guy in a super clean lowrider. I'm still not sure if thats good or bad haha, but I think just the fact that he went out of his way to say that about a car he could probably care less about says something. Jav and I have some interesting stuff in the works, definitely stay tuned over the next few weeks. |
very nice raul!!
|
Looks nice man! Enjoy the P Zeros. I have them on my Mustang and they are nice, but they sure do wear out quickly. :D

I'm waiting for a more functional rear diffuser to move forward with the rest of the exterior mods. We'll see.
Thanks for the compliments folks! Now I'm gonna figure out what to do with the stock wheels ;) Anyone want them? $1250 with the NT05 tires. |

Yep, that would look cool except I'd go a little less hardcore since I need room for the exhaust. How hard can it be. Maybe I'll make one out of plywood and then mold with fiberglass. Weekend project someday when I have time.

Wow nice journal. I can't believe I have never read this thread before.
Well, it looks like I have lots of pages to catch up on. |
Probably because I haven't done much to the car lately. Just enjoying it for a while and been too busy to do anything anyway. Except Wheels I guess haha.
|
Picked up 4 TPMS sensors and a Stillen Front lip. Pics of the lip installed coming next week :)
Also, anyone interested in my stock sports package BBK? Includes the SS lines, brand new pads and the Stillen J-Hook rotors. Willing to discuss price, but I'm looking for around $1500. Same with my Sport Stock 19" Wheels. They have Nitto NT-05 Rubber on them. No TPMS unless you want to pay for it. |

Which brand would you go with? |
AP Racing 6/4. Love the kit and IMHO, its the best option!
We'll see, I'm happy with my current setup though. It's pretty good as it is. |
I'm interested to see how the Stillen lip looks on your car, is the reason for the wait because you are getting it painted by chance? AP racing brakes are definitely as good as it gets on the brake front, no worries about a lack of braking power!

I'd feel better about it if someone was interested for the stock BBK + upgrades. I guess it's better if I put it up on the for sale thread. |
