Been there done that with a 1969 VW Beetle. I spent a ton of money but I did do all the work myself except for the tranny build. Lost a fiancé due to that car. Oh well, I got a better wife now. I do still have the car, it looks like crap now. I went back to school and then got married. Everything car wise went on the back burner. The wife keeps asking me if I am going to do another car. I told her how much money I want to spend on my Nismo for a TT kit and motor build. Her mouth dropped open. I can't help it. I need boost. My 370z will be done eventually.
