I took advantage of a break in the weather (high 30°'s, maybe 40°) to do oil change #3 today at 8512 miles. I was going to stretch this interval out to 5000 miles but I just couldn't wait
 Redline Oil, Purolator filter, new Filter Mag and Blackstone Oil Analysis kit  I upgraded the filter mag to the HP250 version (stronger magnet). I'll use the SS250 on the other car now. Always use a new crush gasket, they're cheap!  I lift the driver's rear corner to drain a bit more oil out of the pan (about 1/8 to 1/4 qt. drains after lifting the corner).
