I own both, and I can say for sure the PS4 looks much better in game but that's because its hardware is better and runs many of its games at native 1080p. The xbox home screen is just all cluttered as well, not a fan. Don't get me started on the waste the Kinect really is. I did buy Forza for my xbox one and already purchased my 370z, ryse is pretty good but I still enjoy the PS4 much more. Kinect will drive you nuts. Wife wanted Dance central so I bought it for her to play with and omg it catches everything and then doesn't catch anything. Its so messed up. For all big games, I will only buy them for the PS4.

Thanks for the heads up on the charging option. I have not had time to play around much with the PS4 yet, but that is the first feature I'm going to setup.

The Dimer

Have all but confirmed that there will be an Xbox One under my tree this Christmas. The hardest part is not going out and getting one ahead of time.

I think they both look great, but I'll probably end up doing what I did with the previous generation. Xbox first and Playstation after a price drop. The only reason I got a PS3 was to play The Last of Us and Beyond Two Souls, Little Big Planet was kind of fun too.

Haha I know I couldnt wait! I had 4 PS4's and planned on selling them all but after opening up two Xbox Ones, and taking 4 hours to re wire our gaming area, I decided to keep a PS4 now because I had easy access to everything.

I am getting Killzone, and Knack for Xmas I cant wait to play them.

Sounds like Microsoft is really stepping up to address their hardware issues. They will send out a replacement console before you send out your broken console, and you get a free digital download of a first party game to play in the meantime. Not too shabby Microsoft...not too shabby at all

I keep having issues installing games with the disc on the XB1. There are work arounds but we should not have to jump through hoops to play our games. I know they don't want to do little patch after little patch right now but I hope they get this ironed out quickly.

First was Dead Rising 3. The first night we played fine together the next it just kept saying added to game but neither one of us actually joined the other. I fiddled with it for over an hour trying different things before I finally cleared the MAc Adddress on the console which forced a reboot and then we were able to join each other.

Just a few hours ago I had the same problem with COD Ghosts. Accept I tried all of that and we still could not get in each others lobby. This time I gave up and said we can just both play with other people. Well when the game started I seen my wife's screen name in front of me but she was not in the lobby when the game launched. This was extinction mode by the way. The random people that were paired with me were gone and it was just the two of us. When we lost it put us in a lobby with two others and we played with them. When that game ended I tried to back us out and it split us apart again. Not allowing us to join the others game.

The entire party system is so flawed it's driving me insane. It shouldnt take an hour to figure out how to play a game with my wife that is sitting right next to me. Hell it shouldn't even take 10 seconds, it sure the hell didn't on the 360. I have to stop typing I'm getting pissed.

Yeah it's ridiculously hard to get a lobby going. The other day I had an error message that said my data wouldn't sync up to the cloud in turn not letting me get online. I called support and they asked me to completely reboot the system. It worked but I had to download everything again. Other than that I haven't had any issues.
