I remember being 18 and working at the mall... I looked over at the Radio Shack TV and it had Power Rangers on it (the original one) and I suddenly realized how old I was (even at 18).

Now it's ten years later and the feeling is worse.

I used to watch Captain Planet all the time before school.

I was born in 1977, so I'm an 80s kid. I know the things above and put them as part of the 80s as well, with the exception of pogs. They may actually be older, and I also think they may be a bit more regional. I've heard of them, but don't think I've ever seen them.

And 90% of my time as a kid was spent outside except Saturdays when I had an intimate relationship with a huge bowl of capt'n crunch, all the milk in the house and about 60 hours of cartoons starting at 0600. Just saying. Oh yeah. And fast and furious isn't what got me into cars it was Smoky and the bandit and that old racing movie with Kenny Rogers .... Ummm six pack

Edit: garbage pail kids
I think you're in the 80s kids range there.

I like this list more, since I don't actually know some of these. Ren & Stimpy seems like a good example. Captain Planet is a bit borderline, as I do remember that.

Power Rangers....Barney? I think those would qualify as 90s.

If "wrestling" to you is Raw and Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan being an *** and you don't know what WWF was, you're 90s. (The one and only time I'll reference bygone days of my wrestling watching is illustrating the 80s and my childhood. And even then it makes me feel dirty!)

Born '79, but don't really consider myself an 80's kid since I don't remember stuff like the music or TV shows from that time. Though I loved Transformers and Voltron. Those were definitely 80's (and bad ***).

Last I heard he started doing MMA, though not sure if he's competed recently.

OK, so I think I'm pretty much spot on with my cutoff date being around 88 while my friends was saying 92.

Ahh yes, good times

'83 here, and definitely a product of the '90s. I had red hair, rocked my face off to countless punk bands...stage dove, slam-danced...all kinds of summer festivals. I remember the beginning of file-sharing, and the demise of Napster. It wasn't all that long ago that I was still making compilation CDs. Skateboarding, skitching, and BMXing were extremely popular when I was in HS (graduated in '01). I'm still not even 30 yet. The funny thing is, people talk about kids these days, but when I go back to my old neighborhood...there are just as many kids out playing and hanging out as when I was younger. Just a new age.

And the answer is yes, I still wear flannel shirts.

Hah, now there's a good difference! Mixtapes vs cd compilations.

'89 here, I count myself as a 90's kid, even if I can't remember the first couple years..I remember watching Captain Planet, Doug, Rugrats, Barney, Hey Arnold, Boy Meets World, Recess, playing pogs in Elementary school, marbles anyone? I also remember wanting a pair of "Soaps" shoes, all the cool kids had them lol. Rollerblading was cool too, skate station, etc..Don't forget the original Pokemon cards?!
