If I read the article right they want to turn them into AOWs which is still a NFA item. I guess people who are saying SBR think if you have to go NFA might as well go SBR than AOW considering the paper work. The only advantage to going AOW is the stamp is $5 instead of $200.

AOW was what I understood also. I have a M4 adjustable stock and a full length 300 blk upper, so I guess I'm swapping stocks and stashing a pistol upper.
