It fires from a closed bolt, uses Glock 21 mags, and uses a delayed blowback design. From what I gather, any 230 grain .45 ACP round works fine.

I had issues like that with my G4 g19 glock. I shipped it to the glock factory and so far i haven't had issues similar.
I will have to shot it rapid fire and c what happens then.
But i do have some erratic ejection occasionally.

What is up with larry vickers?

As to Vickers...I've taken a couple of courses from him. Wouldn't do it again...lots of good trainers out there at his level. He's not my favorite.

I just can't believe they haven't declared the notstock illegal yet. I've thought about buying one but after buying an Atkins Accelerator and having to turn the spring into the ATF when they changed their mind I still think they might change their mind.

got my XDS 9 mm today my question is if you have the touring model 370z where would you mount a custom holster without doing any damage to the interior or would the glovebox be best?

bkjunk 05-15-2014 05:44 PM

Here is my gun mount, no visible damage to the shelf, posted earlier in this thread.

So I just picked up my very first gun ever today. Its a Glock 19 and my wife wanted to get a SW Governor for home defense. The gun store was super laid back and let us shoot some of their store guns to try them out before we purchased. I have to wait till later next week to pick it up as I don't have a concealed carry license but plan to take their class in 2 weeks when they teach it. I can see why so many people love them and want many guns for their collection. I always loved to target shoot with family or friends but being a city boy, I never had anywhere to shoot them or thought it was worth it. Now I know where to go and have my own!

Welcome. You thought cars and car mods had a way of sucking up all your discretionary income? Welcome to guns and gun parts. :rofl2:

In 6 months, you'll have 3. In two years, you'll be posting in here about needing a bigger gun safe. :rofl2:

Yep. Starts with one. Then you've got a bunch. Then you start modding them. Then you start competing. Next you realize ammo costs are eating you alive, so you start reloading. It snowballs fast.

It's still cheaper than playing a lot of golf or owning a boat.

I've got the bug, too. I found a Marlin 60 that I just HAD to have yesterday. Used and a bit dusty but cleaned up real nice. Do I need another .22 rifle? Of course I do - can't have too many. :)

I live on a golf course, lol but because of my work schedule, im just not wanting to be up at the crack of dawn to get a game in and the weekends I usually spend with my wife as shes always at her medical clinic. I might buy one or two more for different areas of the house and caliber. Im usually upstairs here so I said id keep this gun up here and next month when we buy her a judge or the governor, we will keep that in her nightstand as a home defense gun.

Any particular reason for such a "fast" twist? Are you shooting heavy bullets? Because of the short barrel?

Just curious. I have a 14-15" 5.56 with 1:10 that works well with all but the heaviest (70 gr) bullets.

No idea, its what sig runs. My guess is you're correct. Small barrel needs at least one full twist and with the popular 62gr green tip everyone seems to be going lower/faster. I reload hornady match 68gr and 75gr and keep lots of green tip on hand. 55gr I just don't think has the kinetic energy so I'm glad for the 1:7 and heavy rounds.

Next gun will be a 300 blackout for all the split case necks I have.

tvfreakazoid 06-20-2014 02:44 PM

Do u know how much is the arm brace by itself?

Looking to build a pistol soon and I want to get one before Kali bans it for whatever reason.

Ur Sig will be a great work out for ur arm. Make sure to switch so u don't have Popeye arms on one arm only 😁

tvfreakazoid 06-20-2014 02:55 PM

Do u guys know about troys pump action style ar15 rifle?
Like a shot gun but on 5.56 version.
I think it would be a fun gun but that's about it.
I guess its for states like NY.
Personally its to expensive.
What do u guys think?
I couldn't get the hyper link to work. I'm on my cell.

Mine was like $100 used on ebay. Retail is like $149. Bands the brace? Yeah it is a work out, if I use it that way ;)
