It's about time Nissan did something about this. I expected my lightweight two seater sports car to be absolutely silent. Not to mention the doors should thunk like a Miata's.

Well, I just ordered my Z 2 weeks ago and hope that they implement the noise reduction change while building my Z. That would save me the time, effort and $ from doing it myself. SWEET!

I think you can get this in some aftermarket radios, or they at least compensate the sound tuning and volume based on ambient noise.
I know there are cars that come with a noise canceling radio though
