Default Moving on up!

Most of that is 20 - 35 MPH but no where for the cops to hide. I’m improving my “run times” every day and once I’m familiar with the roads I’ll post a dash cam video.

When I was still working at the power plant. I had a 14 mile drive on a twisted ribbon of 2 lane black top.

Yea, it’s a good life when you look forward to driving to work.

Also found out this is a no emissions county so once I find those test pipes I bought 5 years ago...

I've been MIA for the past 2 years until recently. Glad to hear you are enjoying your car, and really glad you didn't sell your car (I saw you made another thread a while ago on possibly selling).

I’m seriously thinking about selling it now due to where we moved. It breaks my heart to see DAIZY left out to the elements. My head (and my wife) says to sell, but my heart just won’t let me... the only thing that’s saving me for now is the clear wrap. Not sure how long that’s going to last though.

Going to turn 40,000 miles on the odometer in a couple of days so the clock is ticking...

PS: whoever is leaving the gay tabs... thanks for finally including me! What took you so long?

Hard decision to make, thou at times I think about selling too, but then I go someplace and get lots of comments on the car. I then just go WOW, lady is holding her own..

I believe that I made the right decision at a moment of time, it was the right decision for that time. I then have no regrets about it.. For it was the right decision and then just go on...

Good luck on your decision

What about one of those car tents? Put the poles in footings and cut some slits in the canopy so that the wind doesnt rip it away

I’m thinking about something like that, but anything I put up will cover about half the front of the house. A carport attached to the front of the house will probably work, and wouldn’t look horrible, but the cost is nuts.

I’m going to look into a quality car cover, but I’m not sure I want to deal with putting it on and taking it off every day. I leave for work at 4:30 am and I’m sure I’ll get tired of that quickly.

At the end of the day, you have to do what's best for you, but my personal opinion: DON'T SELL! What if you got one of those foldable car covers (pic attached)? I hear they are durable and alot more convenient than using a car cover.

I'm a mortgage loan originator, and much like real estate, yes you will make the most money selling now (for both homes and cars) than before/after COVID due to inventory issues and it will probably stay like this for a few years to come. BUT, my attachment to the car and avoiding sellers remorse far outweighs any amount of money.

BettyZ, how you been bro?? I left a comment a few days ago for Mz Daizy on how I still couldn't believe he was a chick (based on his username) a couple years ago, and I could have sworn there was someone else too that I had mistaken their gender ID but couldn't think of that person

That car tent looks intriguing... any idea on cost, where to buy and most importantly, can I get in and out of the car? Doesn’t look like much room.
