I find that hard to believe, but I think you’re right. If the Fed is allowed to keep printing money the way they have, you’ll be absolutely right.

The House quietly voted to raise the debt ceiling yesterday. I say quietly, because the only news outlet I see reporting on it is Fox.

They also cut 1.4 Trillion in government spending. I have little faith that it gets past the Senate and have NO faith it gets past whoever is pulling the pResidents puppet strings.

It seems the Dims don’t like the fact that you’ll actually have to work to get Food Stamps and Welfare.

Wall Street seemed to like the news by the rally today, but let’s see what happens.

Born in the mid 50's. We had BB gun battles. Played football in a graveyard. Soaped the windows on a police car with the local cop in it, one Halloween. Mom's didn't about you unless the blood was squinting,. Broken bones, your arm or leg had to be at a right angle before you went to the hospital. If you cussed. you got your mouth washed out with soap. You always said, Thank You, and Excuse me.

Socia Media is just the tip of the iceberg. There will be others, such as AI, in conjunction with SM that will bring us down

Granted prices were lower back then, but still makes me wonder how stuff was affordable back then. Higher rates and incomes where significantly lower, even with taking inflation into factor.

Imagine 20 years from now, where car monthly payments will be $3k and that's on the low end and poverty level is $200K/annual.

Yep, I remember being forced to go to school even if I was sick and on the brink of death.

If I acted up, I got whipped with a belt and with the buckle end. Asian parents also used bamboo sticks, which hurt like a MOFO.

Ditto on the soap/water if I so much as said "crap".

And definitely on the "Yes/no sir/ma'am, Thank you, etc."

Most importantly, we all went outside to play. Tag, flag football, hide/seek, cops/robbers, going over each other's treehouses. The occasional knocking on doors and running away.
