Wifey, Mia and me put about 150 miles on the Z today. Driving the routes for the Labor Day meet. Seen a chit load of vette's driving around. They out numbered the 'stangs.

Stopped off at 5 Guys to get something to eat. 2 burgers, fries, and drinks was over $30.00.

The burgers were good.

Almost had a turkey in the windshield.

7 of those flying bowling balls flew across the road in front of us. They came off the hillside on the left of us, and landed on our right side. Just past the guard rail. #6 was windshield level, but 20 yards in front of us. The last one just cleared the top of the Z. I was waiting to hear the claws scrapping on the roof.

Came home and got the grass cut too. It's forecasted to rain tomorrow.

Not sure if anyone recalls me posting that the Toyota Dealership called me last week and gave me a deposit back for an ordered vehicle that they decided to cancel due to lack of micro chips....

Well I was speaking with a friend in Wilmington NC last night who has (had) a new Bronco on order. He said Ford just gave him a deposit back also. Cancelling his order for him..

I guess if new car production slows, used car prices will be going up...

Talking with middle stepson over the weekend. He a region manger for a credit union out west. He deals with auto loans mostly. What he said is that new vehicles are hard to get. And that is driving the prices way up on used cars. He then said that once new cars start to come in. The use car prices will come back down. BUT doesn't know when that will happen.

I've got a Credit Karma account, for what they are worth. It's fun to watch, but I don't take much stock in their numbers.

Anywho, since they see my car loan, they report to me every month that my Z has gone down in value, never mind the fact they don't ask how much I do or don't drive it. I looked last week, and they said the 'value' of my Z has gone up about $1500....

Like I said, I don't take much stock in their 'guesstimates', it's kinda like the weather guessers....

Remember that dealers will bottom dollar you on trade in. But will try to sell it for everything they can get out of it.
