The problem is apparently very few people can understand the difference between “not being politically correct” vs just being a racist or sexist or insert whatever here ist.

Too many folks get way too sensitive about sh1t.

The best worst one is “words matter”. Now, do words matter, of course, but you’d think by some folks reaction that the words punched them in the taint.

I grew up with the saying “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me”.

Words only hurt If you let them. Also, if someone talks shi1t to you, give it right back, and if it goes way too far, don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself.

We’ve politically corrected our society to the point that everyone is offended by everything and it gets taking as “traumatizing “. Which just cheapens what real trauma actually is.

Plus nobody stands up for themselves anymore, they expect an authority figure to do it for them. Bullying in school is the perfect example of this. It’s fvcking embarrassing.
