my Z bat died at one point from not driving and me not connecting the charger. my right headlight went out......but when i started it next time it was back lol

i will say oi have a major issue that just arose.

i just noticed my dash is looking "chalky"? idk how what or why it did that. i only drove 700 miles this year and it was in the garage the entire time.

it's always been garage kept too.

That's not uncommon

Mine started doing that when I parked it about 3 years ago. It got better when I started parking it in the driveway earlier this year. But it is cracking also. I'm looking at a CF dash now but I'll probably have to get a cover for it cause that's way too much CF lol

how does this chalky stuff happen? and how can i get rid of it? i'm super annoyed because i'm been so good to that car with upkeep and garage at all times aside from being in the work parking lot. this just happened now after being parked for the longest it probably has ever sat.

Did you have a white powdery substance laid out on a mirror and then accidentally put your window down while driving? Just a thought...

You can just buy a print of that one from my site if you want. I don't price the items though and none of that money goes to me.

Have you touched it? It will probably be slightly sticky because it is most likely the adhesive underneath seeping up through the dash material. Supposedly there is a product that can correct this: stickydashfix.com

Discussion on the product starts on Post 128 in this thread: Another Sticky Dash Issue

Got the Jeep back from the dealer. Isn't the Jeep's fault for breaking. When they dropped the gas tank to replace the hose. They found a critter nest, and the critter chewed through the hose. Think when we was out in Denver last month. We stayed at my oldest stepson's place. 45 acres of wildness. That's when the Jeep got a critter virus.

I had a 2003 Rav 4 as my commuter. Last year, thing caught fire coming home from work. Thing filled up with smoke quickly and engulfed in flames . Only had 58k miles on it. Fire department found a critter nest.

Bought a 2004 RAV4 with 25k miles with the Insurance and found another critter nest not more than. 2 weeks later. I switched jobs and never saw one again. Apparently something at my work. Crossing my fingers with this one.

... I check for critter nests all the time now to the point it's almost a phobia. "Hate little F'ers living in my engine bay" syndrome.

Called my stepson and told him on what happened. He said that they been having problems with critters ever since they moved in.

In 2008, I bought a left over 2007 Honda VFR bike still in the crate from the local dealer. Took the bike out of the crate and put it together. Put fuel in it and it stared right up. Broke the engine in and then put in on the dyno. The numbers were LOW. Started to check everything on the bike. Raised the fuel tank up, and removed the top of the air filter cover. Found a mice nest that covered over 2/3's of the filter. In removing the nest, I found 3 dead mice. Put a new filter in and redyno. Now the numbers was above avg.
