just getting back from Key West fellas.. the Z drove fantastically.. the drive out there sucked! no other way of saying it, it fricken sucked! Made it out there, hung out for an hour then came back.. Nismo wanted to jump in the ocean soo badly.. I'll take her tomorrow.

Birthday was ok. Not much you can do when you're trying to avoid people. Had some good pizza, cupcakes and did a small workout.

most of its one lane coming and going, then you get to these small towns on each island that slows you down to 35/45.. and the speed limit is 55 the whole way.. too many people and very very small infrastructure..

its pretty though, no doubt about that.. im glad i went. i can check it off my bucket list.

I got the terdbo back on it & hooked everything up, topped off with coolant and test drove about 5 miles, no cel & everything seems to be working normal :tiphat:
Now, I have to drain coolant back down & install heat shield that sandwiches between turbo & coolant lines, service trans, change oil & filters, then install all the plastic back underneath :ugh2:
It was in the 90’s at lunchtime out there & trip digits this afternoon :shakes head:
Spoke with my Hvac guy yesterday & he assured me he was picking up the mini splits soon; hopefully they won’t be back ordered when he gets there :ugh2:

He should go there during the Fall Fantasy.

So, realistically it’ll be put all back together by next weekend & then to the ferd dealer go the recall punch-list :wtf2:

We have been selling a chit load of mini splits lately. Got 4 special orders in last week, waiting to be picked up.

And the bridge just got blown to hell & gone :eek:
Now it getting closer to finding that $200,000.00 and a showdown :tup:

My Hvac guy is basically retired from doing A/C work, but is getting 6 units for a Church & adding one for me.
Brand is Daikin, supposed to be good quality & a 2.5ton 30k btu :yum:
He said everything would be under 1500, we’ll see :tiphat:

Yep, a 2 part heat pump.....inside part (wall mounted air handler) and outside part with compressor & fan :ugh2:
Runs backwards for heat in the winter.
Some are designed just for A/C, but I’m getting the one that does both :tiphat:
They offer ceiling mounted air handlers as well & some systems can support multiple air handlers :eek:

He told me to goo to the Daikin website, as they are built in Japan & have been around for nearly 100yrs. :eek:
So, I’m using his judgment call on this one.......but dang :icon14: get my chit, so I can mount everything up & then have him come over & vacuum out air handler side before turning gas to the system :iagree:

I told him that I’m KoK-BloK’d from working in the garage, because of the heat :nutswinger:

Hopefully he’ll come through soon, as after I gets that Ferd out of there...I have some clean-up & organizing to do before next project begins :ugh2:

Morning all! Weekend went way too quickly :shakes head:
Finished the final guitar parts on my album on Saturday, so that's off the list! Sunday, did the basic maintenance on the Z and the G, also installed a Nismo steering wheel in the Z. The original had faded along the top pretty badly, and the Nismo wheel has significantly better grip. First time I installed, I didn't align the wheel correctly (whoops) but got that figured out. I'd intended to do the hood vents too but ran out of time. Next weekend it is!
