Lenses actually showed up a few minutes ago but they were wrapped in bubble wrap and not fulled cured so the bubble wrap marked them all up. Damn, they would have looked good though. They might have been fine if they wouldn't have been with usps for 5 days. He's making me up a new set and will let them cure longer and take better precautions with them.

eastwest2300 07-27-2020 08:54 PM

if you need your current set to go to a good home, im here. :) lol

I told him let's wait one more day and see what happens. My Juke seats get delivered tomorrow. Bad thing is, I've got a bad sinus infection with a pounding headache so I probably won't go down to the shop and check them out. I'm really not liking FedX. At work. Just bout every package has been opened, searched through, and taped back up, the last couple of weeks. Stuff has been missing out of some of the packages. Who would take a bag of screws out curtain box? Bag of bolts out of other stuff. It's all just random. :shakes head:

Had to send them back

TheFLiP 07-27-2020 09:46 PM

Installed the old 19 row oil cooler where the windshield wiper fluid used to be. Had to fabricate some brackets. Thankfully, the Nismo V2 bumpers have the DRL holes on 'em. DRLs are not installed. Look, I know it's a Mishimoto but that's what I had before I knew better lets see how it works.

Also went with distilled water with water wetter. Much cooler temps than when I had the waterless coolant. That stuff runs HOT.

Still have to cut the bumper tomorrow to install the front bumper vent.

Lastly, installed the Z1 hose kit. Them back hoses by the fire wall were a pain to remove. Hours and hours of trying. Ended up with some extra silicone hoses because I have the Stillen SC Kit with A2A mod. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...64c16338ea.jpg

That's ok though. The cars still in the shop so I really don't need them yet anyway and since those were a prototype, he might find something he want's to refine for the second set. The are cool though, he does great work. I test fit them and they fit perfect in the housings.

JARblue 07-27-2020 10:49 PM

Removed and cleaned the tail lights and under them on the M3. Removed and cleaned under the old engine cowls before installing the new ones. Removed and cleaned under the old rear windshield upper/sides seal before installing the new one. Keep finding out about cool features on the car like how the hood can double hinge and stand vertically for extra room

Also did an oil change on the Lexus in preparation for the trip to the coast tomorrow :driving:

KingZTX 07-28-2020 12:35 AM

Checking in late but hope everyone has been doing okay these past couple of days. Been enjoying the hell out of the Powertrix add-on. Seeing the CF in my rearview gleaming in that sunlight :yum:

Got my Blackstone oil test back. They said everything was in tip-top shape. Really did dodge a bullet from that oil plug coming out. Thanks to JAR for recommending it--I'll be submitting one more oil test as a second "check up." However, my mind is at ease.

Eyeing a couple more parts to round off this summer's big push before the school year...I need my computer taken from me...

Well Z lovers... I’m at a crossroads..

Got my biopsy results back the other day from my sore throat and it was not real good. Since the biopsy was done 2 weeks ago, I have only been able to eat a couple of spoonfuls of ice cream each day. Needless to say, I am losing weight pretty fast.

Yesterday, I was invited to three different specialty Doc appointments. Held one right after the other, where I was presented with my options;

A. Do nothing, and the next 2 or 3 months will not be too enjoyable
B. Begin Immunotherapy immediately, and the next 3 to 24 months may be tolerable
C. Endure a complicated 10 hr surgery and then do 3 weeks in the hospital, with the first week being in intensive care. They would cut a 4” x 4” square of flesh off my forearm and make a new Epiglottis out of it. Then, if I woke up again, I would have to eventually learn how to talk and swallow again. The first 3 to 4 months will be fugging hell and then possibly I would go onto to live 20 more years. Any complications would require further surgery to add a feeding tube and or a traech hole.

First Doc, a Radiologist, says I should choose B
Second Doc, an Immunologist says I should choose B
Third Doc, a Surgeon, says I should choose C

They told me to call them back with a decision pretty soon.

FVCK

As I have enjoyed joking around with all of you Yahoos for a few years now, I just thought I would share what was going on.

This very hard to fathom Spoiler. Im very sad to know that the biopsy was not that good.

If you have to go for option C you need to have your body to be strong and in good shape. As prolong bed rest and immobility would be not good.

What is the success rate of people underwent that surgery and what was the long term outcome... like quality of life.

Dude I’ll pray for you...This is too much for a good man like you.

But who we are to question His purpose in our life.

Once in Highschool and 2x in college!

Good thing my teacher is hot! So I didn’t mind repeating the sublingual subject called Cunnilingus.

I think his grasp is still about like that of a newborn - he can grasp a finger pretty well but not much else. I think he just got lucky with that post.
