Lots of other projects are going on that can wait a while. I was talking to the guy testing crete yesterday and he is out testing on pours for a college dorm that is not scheduled to open until 2024. We are working on **** we don't need spreading it around like nothing is happening. /rant

So go have a good round, drink one for me on the back nine and have fun:tiphat:

i mean honestly golfing with the precautions in place is a 100 times safer than going to get groceries. way less people, only touching your clubs, wipe down the cart to be safe, and way more distance between people lol

I fall under the construction and ag essential umbrellas so everyone acts like it's fine for me and 5 other guys to travel 2 states away and live out of a hotel like nothing is going on :shakes head:

I always knew tradesmen where looked down on but it kinda feels like we're now disposable. "It'll be ok guys, we'll get someone else" :shakes head:

Is the locking function the TC-R option? I always wanted that option because it's for race application - didn't really know what it actually was tho lol

It is. Here's what the Type r looks like. It's the circled piece.

I don't have that option on mine just because I didn't like how it looks but my mirrors are locked down tight. If you cinch down the set screw really tight, it takes a really hard bump to move them. They would never move under any driving condition. I am curious how much tighter the "r" feature would make them though.

You can get them shipped with the blue lenses from rhd japan for about $600.00.

My CS mirrors are tightened pretty good. Same here on bumping them. Certainly don't feel the need for it. But if I got another set with blue mirrors I would definitely order the locking option.

The quote for all the options I picked out was closer to $750. That was probably 3 years ago now.

I personally couldnt go back to a giant oem style mirror housing though.

This.

The pass mirror drives me crazy. Never can get it aligned just perfect. But, I'd also never ever put the OEM mirrors back on.

I cover my car every night with a custom fit tight cover. My mirrors never move. :stirthepot: And :iagree:, I hate the stock mirrors.

Personally I'm kind of glad to be considered essential, even though I know it exposes me. It's definitely cramped my style - I'm way more cognizant of the potential impact of visiting my parents, for example - but the paycheck is such a relief in a world where so many either already have no paycheck, or soon will not :(

bunk 04-17-2020 01:20 PM

Today I was supposed to go to the big guys house to work on his home network. He just called me and cancelled and asked if I can do it tomorrow. Yep, of course! If I worked today, it wouldve been included in my normal work hours. Tomorrow, its 1.5x rate.

I used to run EVO-Rs and I preferred those over the stock mirrors because of the wide angle.

but you know, Evo R = one breaking and flying into my car.
