Gonna take a trip to Las Vegas just to drive the Strip and experience the ghost town this weekend. We Spring is here as the temps will be in the 70s and 80s over the next two weeks with no rain.

Talked to a few friends last week that live in Vegas and Yes they say it is a Ghost Town and the Strip is a little creepy. My wife and I are still hoping that our August trip will still happen. Don't think our June trip will, but we have our fingers crossed. Be sure to take some pictures.

It's actually a rosè, but it is made from 100% Sangiovese grape. It's nothing like any rosè you've ever had before. None of this sweet bs that people who don't like wine drink.

abm89 04-17-2020 03:13 PM

I'm hoping the Retro gaming festival in Portland is still on for August. For some reason they moved it up from October (which sucks because i was going to double up and get Trailblazers tickets).

I hope they are open too. They employee thousands of people. The rumor is that it may be as long as 18 months to two years. I drove through Laughlin on Tuesday and it was a ghost town and very creepy. There were people working on the roads an not much else. Only saw a couple of cars and a city bus with no one on it. Just plain weird. I will post some pictures!

We have plane tickets to Alaska for the end of June so we have our fingers crossed.

There was a gas station on Airport Blvd that had gas for $1.11/gal last week

Spooler 04-17-2020 03:28 PM

I will try my best to avoid any group buys in the future. I would rather just pay my money and get my stuff. No need for all the drama.

I have pretty much always tried to avoid group buys. But I made the decision on the SuckerPunch gears and that was that. I couldn't just buy them from a vendor because they weren't in stock. So when the group buy deal came up, I didn't hesitate. Not at all displeased with Jeremiah. Things happen. If you don't have contingencies that's on you. Deal with it and move on.

Rusty 04-17-2020 03:32 PM

Come home from work. Catch up on my reading on this thread. Now, I need a nap.

Me either. Life threw him a curve ball and he is making do the best he can. I lost my mom at 9-10yrs old. I didn't have a chance to even say goodbye. I will wait for a long as needed. I have no problem giving him extra time. I wish I had that opportunity. If I need to pick up an extra pump to help him out, I will do so. Whatever.

For some reason. I can't stay away from group buys. :shakes head: When this virus hit. I figure it would throw a monkey wrench into the group buy. I'm not in any hurry for the pump, unlike others who have a engine build going on. You guys are on a time line and need things to happen in order. But at the same time. I'm a bit nervous about the delay. I got screwed over last year for a off-road drag link for my PowerWagon. $1000 gone. The name of the place is DOR, or Dodge OffRoad. Do NOT business with this outfit. I'm still burning over this. I got my fingers crossed for the pump tho.

The glasses don't bother me. I have to remove the hearing aids. Otherwise I get feedback in them when I lay on them. :shakes head:

As a business owner, if I had personal matters that were unfortunate enough to interfere with my business and a client complained to me, I would happily tell them fck right off and to never call me again. Any customer that can't understand something like that I'm not interested in working for.

I am always willing to refund fees if someone isn't happy with my services. But if you're a real asshöle, I'll make sure I wait until you rack up some legal fees before refunding the money.

Mia will nap with Chris when she lays down on and couch. If I have the foot rest up. Mia will nap on that until I move.

I always build in a buffer for Murphy to get in the way. I always plan like hell though. Not messing with my build any at the moment. I got time.
