Had to change out a rear tire on the lawn tractor, couldn’t get the s.o.b. off the axel ( it’s only 26 yrs. old, think it would just slide off

Had to change out a rear tire on the lawn tractor, couldn’t get the s.o.b. off the axel ( it’s only 26 yrs. old, think it would just slide off ) so had to change it on the machine
