Are you absolutely sure? I just pulled the knob off an old climate control set I had and it appears that the red dot gets illuminated from the same lights that light up the black faces.

I just went out to my car to take a look. The red light does light up (not crazy bright, but a bit). Looks like its almost the same tone of orange even though it looks red.

Here's what the little red dot piece looks like. When I saw it was translucent and extended down into the housing I thought it might be getting light from somewhere. It just doesn't have it's own wired light source. Thanks.

Yeap, that is how mine are done. Lighting is from the back. Same ones that lights up the backface.

fellas, I got the class III hitch put on the QX today, then I took the QX to the infiniti dealership to get a bath... its snowy and cold but the roads are dry, had to take advantage of that.

the kid that brought the QX back to me, he was like..damn dude.. she (the QX) sounds niceee.... I say to him, you like the exhaust? he asks if its a full kit, I tell him yes with fast intention test pipes.. he's like, I wanted to rev it up, but he'd get in trouble, so I did it for him.. he was happy.

Whelp. This is what happens when you have too much of a good time - aka three weeks of 12-15 hours/day on a keyboard and 4-6 hours/day building the garage ceiling. Tendon hurts like hell. Iced it and got 1000x worse.
