The pots must also be painted. No spray in the building; someone asked if we could spray outside. I pointed out that wind, spray paint, and business attire go together poorly. Someone else suggested we use my car as a windbreak. Manager put a hard no on that with "There's not enough security here to save us if that goes wrong."

Which was doubly funny as we're adjacent to a police substation.
