I will not be selling the Stillen brake duct kit. Found out a few things and will be using the Stillen backing plates again.
I did the driver side with the stock plate. Found out that it flexed a lot when turning the steering wheel to the left. The 3" hose would push the plate into the rotor. The stock backing plate is .032" thick and has an offset of 3/16". The Stillen backing plate is .039" thick and an offset of 5/16". So the Stillen plate is 1/8" farther away from the rotor and is a little stiffer. So I modding the Stillen plates for the 3" hose. ![]()
