I'm still pissed at the Chevy dealers around here..... I couldn't get ONE of them to let me test drive even a USED Corvette.... even with cash in hand.....

The Porsche dealer said "no sweat, what Cayman do you want to drive & since you are here, you might as well drive a 911 Cab"....

It's no wonder Chevy has a damn backlog of 'Vettes on the lot... stupid azzez

agreed. i almost made jokes to the OP about why did he get a base model vette? that's just an utter waste of money. if you get a vette you get the Z51 thats the real base model.

A few years back I thought about buying a new vette.I had been working on my house and was dressed in work clothes.Could not get a salesman to give me time day.i even set alarm off that was on car.Went and talked to owner.I could write a check for the car.Explained what happened and told him I would never buy a Chevy product.

You have to go to the right dealer. For some reason some dealers think Corvette's are gold and a lowly guy can't afford it. I always go to a dealer in junk close. I love to annoy them and I just don't give a crap.
