Thats pretty good. The speed they advertise is "up to", not actual. Too many variables to prevent full speed. But youll spike to the full speed for a fraction of a second every now and then..

Yea 950 out of 1000 ain’t bad and now with the new router up and running Xbox is showing that it’s pulling 800 which isn’t too bad of a loss.

previous was a max of 250mbps so i bumped up 4x max speed.

i only played a little bit last night since i went out with some friends for a bit.

i'll def do more gaming tonight but i think the real test will be game update downloads or just whole game downloads themselves to see.

i did notice that some stuff is for sure loading faster. obviously not a game itself since to do that i just need a SSD external HD. but things that are streaming/internet based were coming up quicker for sure.

also, this router has so many options and settings i gotta figure out so that i can maximize all my stuff.

always have had it direct connect. wired was max speed and wifi was like 30-50mbps previously. old habit?

You had 250 and your WiFi was only at 50? Either you have lead in your walls, a ton of interference or some really bad config.

no i just didnt care and used the modem/router combo comcast provided.

but now thats in a box to go back to them lol

the spaceship router is up and running. i put it where my other one was......but it look so cool though it may have to get a better spot so i can look at it lol

The Comcast dude who set up your WiFi or whoever, needed to make sure youre speed was decent..
Anyway, with your new tier, make sure your WiFi devices have 802.11ac cards in them otherwise youre wasting half+ of the speed youre paying for
