Found out the Nissan dealer in town is most likely looking for techs. My only problem is I don’t have a scanner yet and my tool selection isn’t that great

Found out the Nissan dealer in town is most likely looking for techs. My only problem is I don’t have a scanner yet and my tool selection isn’t that great at the moment. My diagnosing skills aren’t where I’d like them either. I’m a glorified parts changer now.
There’s just no room to grow at my current job since the new guy is now the service manager and my brother is the assistant manager. I’m just not happy being able to not do anything more. I want to improve but there’s nowhere I can go here. Sorry if I was repetitive. Anywho, spent my tax refund on a new stereo set up for the house. Lolol
