I have one. It's a Craftsman. 5/8" chuck, 10 speeds. Sits on my metal work bench. If I had to do it again. Think I would be looking at a small vertical milling machine. You can do more with it. And it's precision is better.

If you get one. You'll need some accessories. Different types of vises, compound drill slide, some hold downs, parallel bar set, etc.

I have vices covered, 1-2-3 blocks ect. I dont need a mill though, it would really just collect dust and I dont have the space for it.

You get the drill press now. Later on, you wished you would have bought the mill.

Right now. I could use a mill, a lathe, and a TIG welder for a couple of projects I want to do.
