Took a look at my rear frame where i got bumped at a stop light a few months ago. Got some dents there. Not horrible, but stopping plastics and interior plastics from fitting correctly. Will post pics later

Tied out the Sous vide thing. Worked pretty well and the steak was really tender. The cast iron skillet would be best for a good sear on the outside but the whole family was getting ready for bed when I was cooking, grill had to do.

madwi 09-30-2018 05:32 PM

JC: Is that a fish feeder attached to that dock post?

madwi 09-30-2018 05:32 PM

Time for a much needed haircut and shave.

I recommend 3 HRs next time. When you try the cast iron leave it in the oven as you preheat. Turn the oven up to 450*F or higher if you can. Then turn your max burner (assuming you have gas) and get that skillet white hot.

I got a new job. Floating manager for Midas. I'm quite excited. And now that I put my two weeks in, my manager finally offered me a raise and I declined

Like the pang of impending diarrhea, you can't ignore us for long! Welcome back EW.

Reps distributed! Sore after the weekend - spent a while doing yardwork yesterday after paintball the day before. Paintball was awesome. I love Skirmish, place is huge. We did have to deal with our fair share of paint-wiping little bitches, so after a while, I just started lighting up the opposing team till they'd oust themselves.

Yard is coming along. Finished digging out most of the debris on the driveway side, and all the fallen trees are dissected. I can almost use the mower over there - that's the eventual goal! Pressure washed the house. No more moss.
