Some of them actually recognize me and ask for water on those hot days; I'll turn around and go back to the office to grab cold ones from the fridge.

Every now and then Ill buy stuff to make sandwiches, case of water, some sort of individually wrapped snacks and make meal packs in ziplock bags and keep them in my car. Ill hand them out to homeless people that I drive up to on street corners. 90% of them really do appreciate it. The other 10% get the bird.
The one homeless guy that I really felt bad for was in front of a grocery store. He greeted everyone with a "hello, god bless you".. didnt ask for anything. I made sure to get him a few pre made sub sandwiches and a couple liters of water. I gave them to him as I walked back to my car. As I pull out of the lot, I see this guy take his bag of goodies, walk over to his fellow homeless, and start giving the sandwiches and water to them...Same grocery store, a guy comes up to me asking for a blanket because he was freezing. I actually had one in my trunk (my favorite comfy one). Gave it to him and he started crying saying I saved his life...I think someone started cutting onions at that point...

Id give him a quarter just for the laugh..lol

At the power plant. We had what was called the "10 Minute Rule". If the plant manager left early. The next higher up had to wait 10 minutes before they could leave. So on and so on. Friday's was crazy watching management do their ritual. :rofl2:

Yeah, really. :icon14:

Work, come home and install a dogie door for the puppy. That took 4 hours. :shakes head: And it was for a sliding glass door. It was suppose to pop into place. Had to make pieces to make it work right. :shakes head:

Then spend 3 hours removing the dent in the gas tank on my motorcycle. Couple years ago. I dropped my helmet and it hit the tank. Leaving a nice dent. :shakes head: Seen a couple video's on youtube on removing dents with a puller. So I went to Harbor Freight and bought their dent puller for $16.00. The kit has a hot glue gun, 3 glue sticks, glue release, 2 different pullers, and a bridge. It's a slow process. Prep tank, put glue on the end of the puller, put on dent, leave to cool, install bridge, twist knob to pull dent up. It took me about 2 dozen times of doing this to get most of the dent out. You have to look hard to see what's left of the dent. I'll spend more time with it this winter.

I still have a small spot that needs pulled. But you won't see unless you move your head and are looking for it.
