Yes. I add a little garlic and rub it all in with just a touch or Worcestershire sauce. Then vac seal it. I used to marinate the **** out of steak. Then I realized less is more.

The road course was called Beaverun in Butler. Which is now called Pittsburgh International Raceway

i didnt know there was a dragstrip in bridgeville thats only like 25 min for me. i typically go to keystone or i head out to quaker city in Salem Ohio.

beaverun/PIR is like 20 min from me. i was just there a month or so ago to watch Khoi run at a NASA HPDE event. even went out for a session as his passenger.

I'll have to try a marinade next time. I mainly just stick to some ground sage, thyme, and garlic salt.

I should probably say I season it and vac seal it. I wouldn’t really call what I do a marinade.

Guessing I'll just have to bite it and get a new battery. Anyone think there's a chance the 3 year old battery that's been sitting for several months can be salvaged with a charger/tender?

id give it a shot, im lazy though lol

Well, I need a tender, so I'm planning to buy one anyway. Trying to decide if I should go ahead and get a charger just to have as well. Or I think they have some products that can do both jump and tender functions.

When grilling steaks. They should only be flipped once. And if it's a good steak. You shouldn't have to use any sauce on it.

I've marinaded steaks with different things. Soy sauce, Thousand Islands, etc. Just to try to see what it tastes like. Some good, some not so good. Just had steaks with a rub on it. Lets just say I won't be trying that again.

Love going to a Japanese steak House and getting a filet mignon. :yum: And getting hammered on saki.

i got my own little marinade i like to use but depending on the steak itself i'll sometimes do the one and done flip method orrrrrrr sometimes i'll do 1 min a side and flip a few times for like 2-3 for a 6 min mid-rare. also i can get the cross pattern grill marks that way lol sometimes it's if i feel lazy or not.

My motorcycle sits for months at a time, with only a battery tender on it. And the battery is 4 years old. Starts everytime.

I think I have a brand new tender in my garage I could send you. Let me check when I get home tonight.

The only problem with the one flip method is no cross hatch grill marks. I reserve it mostly for top quality prime or wagyu/kobe :yum:

Yup. It's in my garage. I am positive. This is the one. Yours if you'd like. I'm to lazy to run an extension cord outside all the time just to tend it. Easier tojust disconnect the battery hahahaha.

Pouring rain right now and all day tomorrow. Low 40's right now and highs of mid 60's the remainder of the week. Apple picking soon and then snow will be hitting.

The difference is you have a battery tender. I do not. I will get one.

Although I kinda liked not having one when the car had wheels. It was an excuse to make sure I drove it at least every week or two :driving:

We picked up a searies of pump stations from a neighboring county, slated to be taken over October 1st.
9:07 am supervisor called, "tonight at the end of your shift ( 11pm ) can you go over to learn and document how to operate"
I'm going to have my hands full for my 8 hr. shift ( expecting 1.3" of rain today ) then this.
I'm getting too old for this much " fun " but I believe in leading by example sooooo here's another 16hr. shift

Time for bed. Going to dream of Lista cabinets for the garage. I need to win the lottery before that happens.

Battery tender mite not work for you!
The tender is mainly for maintenance, since your battery is completely dead you'll need a charger to start the process
