Dads still talking about the fishing on Saturday; Gonna take him back asap-as at 83yrs. of age...he really doesn’t have many hobbies. One things for sure-He hasn’t forgot how to fish & you’d never know his age, they way he can still place that bait wherever he wants & long distance.(except for the tree cast) I had to laugh.
:rofl2:

It only bothers me in the morning when I awake,,,must be hereditary-as Dad has it in both wrists as well.
Mine usually goes away after a dose of Tylenol or Advil...just a pestering dull ache at times.

I wish it was 45/50 here,,,though it has been hitting high 60’s in the morning time- but back to mid 80’s during the day. A lot better than 95-100’s
Speaking of glove,,,gotta get me a few pair soon; just hard to find them in 3x

old guy 10-02-2018 04:42 AM

Worked a double again last night, got a little under 2" of rain over the last 24hrs.
Worked back to back 12s on the weekend, was supposed to be off yesterday but got called in for another 16
Need some ZZZZzzzzzzzz

jchammond 10-02-2018 04:45 AM

This is decent working weather; though I’m still running A/C too & from work.

That’s some pretty long hours,,,those 12 hour shifts kicked my arse a bit.
Wouldn’t have been as bad if you don’t have to drive an hour each way.
It’s “Turn & Burn” & being single,,,don’t have time to do anything around the house.:ugh:

We use heat pumps in the south,,,doesn’t get very cold for long periods of time here. But it’s capable & has gone down near single digits in the past...I’m thinking 11* ma be as cold as I’ve seen it on the Z before.

Looks like a prime spot for getting eaten alive by skeeters.

Morning all! Been crazy here. I'm already counting down for the weekend.

So far:

-Manufacturing managed to scrap 3 identical batches of parts (with a helping hand from Engineering) because they decided to make them straight through without in-process inspections. That's 165 scrapped pieces which we needed done yesterday.

-Purchasing has apparently never been writing purchase orders correctly, so I'm identifying their many failures and providing guidance on writing PO's in the absence of appropriate leadership.

-Our system is not pulling information from archived jobs correctly.

-One of my inspectors still needs help using his PC for simple tasks, and can't receive his email today.

-We're out of good coffee. :(
