Texas looked terrible even though they won. At least the Astros look like they are getting back to Championship form.

StevenSlice 09-10-2018 01:39 PM

I thought about it. But the pic I would choose would be far too inappropriate for this thread :rofl2:

Texas is playing to their opponents level. Like the last 4 years...

I wasn't too impressed with the Astros' closing pitching last night either. But you are right - they are getting there. Altuve had a HR which is a good sign.

Leingod 09-10-2018 01:42 PM

Made it

What a miserable day. :shakes head: More fking rain. Ran my azz off at work. And It's chilly. 60F. :shakes head:

JARblue 09-10-2018 02:34 PM

It has been raining a lot here, too. I've been trying to mow the lawn since the week before last. And of course, we keep getting more rain so the yard just gets more out of control lol

Rusty 09-10-2018 02:36 PM

Did ordered a universal key.

A pair of 42" bolt cutters that generate 4,000 lbs of cutting force. They will cut a 1/2" harden steel.

We will be getting the hurricane next weekend most likely. :shakes head:

Everybody wang chung tonight!

JARblue 09-10-2018 03:19 PM

Anyone know if you can get the titanium backing plates from another source other than hardbrakes? The radio buttons for selecting the plate thickness don't seem to be working on their website, so I can't add them to the cart and place an order. Figure I'll just email them...

Also, does anyone get the 1mm plates? How do they fit with new pads? I don't mind having to bed the pads first and fit them after, and I have caliper spreaders to help.

StevenSlice 09-10-2018 03:25 PM

Rusty 60 is chilly for you? Thats comfort weather right there.

madwi 09-10-2018 03:30 PM

Going back to work tonight and I barely slept today while thinking of all the things that need to be done on the Z. I actually dreamed of melting a boost line like Solidus. :shakes head:

Good news is that the CJM stuff showed up today along with trans oil. Made a shorty wrench that will get to the fill plug without taking pipes off.

The only place that you can get the Ti backing plates is Hardbrakes. I got the 1mm plates. No problem with new pads.

When is was in the 90's one day, then drops to high 50's to low 60's with rain the next. It's takes a little while for the body to get used to it. The dampest goes to the bone.

Rusty 09-10-2018 03:45 PM

Think it's nap time. :D

I just emailed them. Couldn't select either thickness on the website. Hopefully they are in stock.

I just want this damn gastritis to go away so I feel well enough to even want to drive my car. Plus, I still need to get it in for re-tune.

I feel that. It was 110 in buttonwillow on Saturday. Then Sunday when i was back home it was 70 all day. It made me almost feel sick after such a dramatic temperature difference.

JARblue 09-10-2018 04:23 PM

Those 40 degree temperature swings are not uncommon in Texas. It will be 80F on the drive to work and by the end of the day you need a winter coat to walk to the car :ugh:

I'm not ready for that.....

StevenSlice 09-10-2018 04:55 PM

As someone who can barely handle anything above 85. When its that hot and then switches that much in temperature i usually get sick the next few days. 10/10 would not recommend.
