Pulled the diff cover off. The fluid looked about normal for 55,000 miles. There is a magnet and sensor that detects when the locker is engaged. There was a BIG bunch of metal particles on the magnet and senors. Cleaned everything up. Checked operation. Everything is fine.  Installed diff cover and filled with 6 quarts of 75w-90 Mobil 1. Tomorrow, I'll do the front diff.
