Me: Are you using Your Network ID as the username?
Coworker: Yes, Your Netowrk ID is what we are all entering into the field.
Me: You are literally typing in Your Network ID and not the username you use everyday to login to the computers?
Coworker: Oh. We each have to type our usernames in the username field?
Me: That would be a good start.

I'd think you were lying if I'd never worked near the IT department. My boss "kind of" oversees that as part of his role. We have this one lady who calls in regularly, wondering why her computer has changed her email password; one of my inspectors who doesn't understand that caps lock is important; and an entire team that randomly cut the wires they found in the wall, and didn't understand they'd severed the entire internet connection for their building.

We had our lead maintenance guy take a contractor to our UPS room to perform some service. Contractor says no problem and flips the mains off and takes out the entire network in the hospital, all floors. A whole big situation happens and asses are chewed up and down. Next day, same contractor walks into the room and does it again!

Had a contractor in the power plant. They was testing relays. Mind you, we were running flat out. The relays they testing should of never tripped the plant. It did. We was plant black for 8 hours. We lost a couple million dollars that day.
