i just went a few exits down the highway with cruise control on 65 and the top speed was showing between 64.7 and 65 even so it was extremely accurate.. makes me think the 0-60 might be closer than i thought as the top speed was never more than .4 mph off

MC 08-05-2010 04:52 PM

got the car mount to use for autoX

Going to try this as my AutoX /Road Race Camera - NAGTROC - The Nissan GT-R Owners Club

What ever you want. If you're due for an upgrade let me know and I can get you a great deal on a new phone. I broker for Verizon, AT&T, Tmobile, and Sprint.

I just got the Droid X and love it. Had the original Moto Droid before this and that one was great as well.

HKYStormFront 08-08-2010 05:23 PM

i've noticed significantly less battery life with android 2.2... anyone else noticed this?

Trips 08-08-2010 07:08 PM

I've noticed it getting a little warmer than usual?

bigaudiofanat 08-08-2010 07:31 PM

I forgot to post this.

But I am using pdanet on my droid incredible and on my mac. I took a trip from NJ to TN and used tethered internet all the way. No problems and was a good speed as well.

Just one more reason I love my DROID!

I can get any of the Droids through Verizon right now either with new contract or upgrade.

Droid X = $189.99
Droid Incredible = $179.99
Droid / keyboard = $79.99

All three phones are awesome and don't disappoint. I currently have the X, but at times miss my other Droid with slide-out keyboard. But it's completely a user preference. I'd say drop in your local Verizon and check out their display models. Then once you decide let me know and I can set up your order and have it FedEx'ed to you w/ free 1-2 day shipping.

mine turned itself off about 3 consecutive times in a row one day a few weeks ago.. i went on a droid forum and found out it was likely due to running a task killer... i uninstalled my ATK and it never happened again...

cant think of anything else really...

I had ATK on my first Droid. Haven't added it to the X yet, haven't really felt the need for it atm.

Do you mean to fully transfer to the HD? I haven't tried that yet. But I know I can access my phone contacts via bluetooth nav.

MC 09-02-2010 09:11 PM

yeah that works well for Droid 1

if you have a droid X DO NOT update to 2.2 manually... motorola says you will be stuck with that unofficial version

As far as I know it hasn't been released. And if it does I doubt it'll stand up next to the X. If you really want an android phone with AT&T I can get them all for better cost than in store. Same for Verizon and Sprint.

370zproject 09-08-2010 11:42 AM

well Verizon had the X but att is cheap havent looked at sprint yet tho >.> evo 4 ?

Lots of high hopes for this phone - it looks sexy as ****, and is expected to be a great phone.

AT&T's going to dig themselves into a hole if they dont get onto the Android bandwagon soon.

Just my personal opinion.

I still maintain, the Droid X is the best Android on the market now (despite not having 4G). Its been tested to have better battery life than any other Android out now, even with its huge screen and fast processor. Its just an all-around great phone - I really like my friends'.

You're killing me lol.

Added the ' after the "friends" to show that I meant I really like my friends' Droid X. As in, the one that my friend owns heh.
