I think Tony does an exhaust for the 335/135 also. I might have gotten mixed up on the wrong Board LOL. Thanks for the welcome also. This place has been a great source so far and hopefully my little bits will help others as well.

Thanks for that kdo', the other 2 sets are for Aus370 and Ellz. We are all from QLD in Australia and were able to save a bucket load on shipping by buying/shipping together.

You and me both WShade. If not for the power gains, the sound of the RTP's, CBE and CF mufflers is what i am really after.

Hi m4a1mustang. I cant be certain which mode it was in, but it was done in 4th gear and my bet is that is was done in Shootout mode. The Dyno Operator/Tuner had previously done my Turbo Swift at another workshop Years ago and is very experienced in tuning.

When I get the Exhausts done when they turn up i'll ask what mode it was done in and try to make sure it is the same for when they do a run with the exhaust on it. Hopefully the weather is similar to get a good comparison.

Definitely not worried. It comes with the modding territory so to speak. Was just nice that it was a little thing like I posted above. I could tell from in the cabin it was a metal/plastic sound and lucky that I picked it straight away and didnt have to trouble shoot for ages LOL.

I know the stillen sees good gains and those numbers look right but when i look at the dyno I cant help but think that the hp/tq lines are crossing at the wrong rpm. maybe im looking at it wrong. They should be crossing at 5252 rpms

They just aren't on the same scale to result in a visual cross at 5252. Both torque and hp read about 205ish at 5252.

Default Little YouTube Added.

Hey Guys,

Just took the car for a quick spin around the block and got a little video. It's only from a Point & Camera, but it does give an idea of the sound for the Intakes. It was done with the windows down and 2nd gear. Will try for a better effort later.

You will need to turn up your volume a bit though LOL.

Hi guys. I have attached a larger Res shot of that Dyno so it easier to see. The 2nd Dyno does start a bit earlier for some reason and not to sure why. The first run we did after the intakes, we had some slippage @4k and had to tie the car down tighter. Then we just went for it again, which is why at the bottom this run says Run 3 (Run 2 being the slippage).

You more technically minded guys might be able to explain it better than i can.

Your graphs are fine!

I kind of wish my dyno operator would have kept his foot in it a little while longer, though. Looks like yours ran it past 7,500 rpm which is where you made more power. Mine started to let off just before 7,500 rpm so I'm a little unhappy about that.

yeah, i wasnt thinking about the scaling. so yeah, they are good. I want the stillen intakes but for the same cost i can rebuild the suspension on my e30.

With mine running past 7.5krpm, I think thats due to the calibration of the dyno. Although he did keep his foot in it till the cut out, which is where it drops off at the top. It was good to see him take it all the way though and see what the can do.

I just cant wait for the exhaust to come in and get installed.

As I mentioned above, I think it was just a calibration thing that makes it look slightly out of whack. The good thing is they were done as close to back to back as possible i.e. the only time difference was the install time.

As for getting the intakes, I personally cant rate them high enough and I believe will see even better gains when the exhaust is on. I think Tony's initial test runs were done without intakes installed on that car.

But suspension for E30 would also be pretty damn sweet. It would definitely add to it's handling thats for sure.

Thanks for that RCZ. You're right the Stillen's are doing quite well. Although there are a few other products out there they also do a good job these days, as others are starting to post about them.

Also thanks for the compliment, it's my first write and from a not to technically minded person either LOL.
