![]() ![]() Good writeup, and great pics and vid! giving the ecu time to adjust is a good idea, I'm still allowing mine time to adjust. I was getting around 17.4 mpg before the Takedas, and immidiately after I was getting around 14.2 mpg. I am up to 15.2 mpg at this time. I will wait till I get the FI catback and do a before and after dyno then. I really feel like the ecu needs more time to lean out. Last edited by kdo2milger; 08-16-2009 at 06:20 PM. |

my avg says 20.2mpg, all city, I usually stay in a high gear/low rpms, I always shift @ 2k, this should help some of you lead-footers out there.

My fuel mileage has dropped too... because I can't keep from gunning it! In a moderate to hard pull these intakes sound absolutely AWESOME between 3k-5k. Especially in third gear it seems. It sounds so good... The car sounds so much more beefy and you feel like the engine is really talking to you now.
