i suppose the worst case if they can at least net zero but with good sound, that's still better than just keeping the stock intake.

i'd like to see comparison of takeda vs JWT's intake without the heatshield.

yep, even if it nets zero whp if the sound is good i think it's worth having. just not acceptable to be loosing hp.

Got the numbers today. Keep in mind it was done at 95+ deg temp here in socal(CORONA) on a mustang dyno

hp = 8.57 tq = 9.18

I'm still waiting on the dyno sheet

First car tested had 1000 miles on it and was done during spring time, about 70deg.
Our car has 3000 miles and it was hot yesterday

i can live with that...although i would still like to install mines ram air ducts in the bumper and zeto heat vents in the hood

How is the response? Do these offer any benefit to the overall characteristic of the response/low/mid/top end? Also, is there a different model number associated with these intakes? Sorry if the questions have already been answered...

pretty acceptable numbers...as long as it sounds nice and is a decent gain above stock, i'm sure most people will be happy with intakes

ya, i feel they need some fresh air to really get the most out of them hince the mines ram air ducts for the bumper...

note to self...order mines air ducts with out ole lady noticing two holes in the bumper...

Nothing, That was the production intake they have on our Z, same one you got. They are planning on making heatshields per my request and possible intake ducts but i don't know when just yet, hopefully after SEMA

Any idea if the heat shields will be available as an add on to the existing intakes or will it require a redesign of the intakes? Just want to know if I can go ahead and install mine :-)
