Hey OP, your FI cats already have a "J" style type of extender on there... So honestly I think one of the sensors was damaged during the install.

Yeah, you are right on the O2 locations. I can almost guarantee that a sensor was damaged due to using impacts tools. Thats is a huge NO NO when it comes to removing the cats or exhaust manifolds! Or atleast remove the sensors first before you use impact tools

Well lets get some more people to chime in first. I'm just assuming but you never know, may be something simple. No, its not really hard to replace them, its just the o2 sensors for our cars is really expensive.

Yeah its your sensor same codes happened to me when I installed my headers. You can double check the sensor with an ohmmeter though. I pounded on it too hard trying to get it out of the cat.

was it a pain in the azz replacing that sensor? you had to replace the sensor on the intake manifold right? (passenger side)

I dont see how it couldve been damaged on install. That error code relates to the sensor on the manifolds not the cats. That is a precat o2 code. Those were not touched at all during install of the hfc's. Did you make sure atleast that sensors are plugged in and are not loose in anyway?

I lifted up the front end of the car, to put the steel wool in the J-bung, and I checked the 02 sensors, I didnt see any issues with them. I didnt look at the o2 sensors on the exhaust manifold, because Im not sure where to look for that. But its looking like thats where the issue is. It just makes sense.
